Czechia* Celebrates 28 Years Since The Velvet Revolution

On November 17, 2017 in the capital Prague and other Czech cities were marked 28 years since the beginning of the Velvet Revolution of 1989. As a result of continued until November 28, 1989 protests, it was decided to go to the  first democratic elections in формер Czechoslovakia. From January 1, 1993 there are two separate states Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

*   Czechia  is preferred name of the states by Czechs, but most popular is Czech Republic
