Four German investors and an Asian company, which is in the top 50 of the most innovative in the world, have stepped into Trakia Economic Zone, said co-manager Plamen Panchev. Japanese SMC Industrial Automation has purchased 180 acres and will build a plant for pneumatic equipment. A new industrial site is currently building near the Kuklen subsidiary of the German giant Willi Elbe Gelenkwellen, a world leader in steering and propulsion. Preliminary contract was concluded with another German car parts manufacturer, who will also lift a factory in the Kuklen area.
