For several years already, a tradition has been created on May 17th in the resort town of Ravda to mark the Day of the Norwegian Constitution (Establishment of the Modern State of Norway in 1814). The Norwegians living in the area are marching from the Norwegian village (between Ravda and Nessebar) to the center of Ravda, where they are met by Mr. Andon Bakalov, mayor of Ravda. The Scandinavian state is not a member of the EU but is part of the Schengen area and is one of the countries with the best standard of living, freedom of speech and excellent international prestige.
